  1. Lk 9:23 following Jesus through the day • Wake up! “This is the day the Lord has made. Let’s rejoice and be glad today!” (Psalm 118:24) • Dress up! “God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So you should always clothe yourselves with mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. ” (Colossians 3:12) • Shut up! My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, Jas 1:19 • Stand up! “take up the full armour of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. Stand firm therefore” (Eph 6:13–14) • Look up! “I can do all things through Christ, because he gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13, NCV) • Reach up! “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. ”Col 3:2 • Rest up! “I find rest in God; only he can save me.” (Psalm 62:1, NCV)
