Introduction to University Development Grants (UDGs) Training Program for Proposal Writers

  2. PROJECT COMPONENTS

ELIGIBILITY • Should have Updated University/Institution Corporate Plan covering HETC Project Period (2010-2015) • Updated University/Institution Corporate Plan should be complemented with Action Plans • to improve the employability of graduates, especially in areas such as Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities, Management & General Sciences • to improve the quality of External Degree Programs (EDPs), where applicable • to rebuild social capital in universities & promote ethnic cohesion among students & staff • to address student unrest issues • Should have submitted the SER for the Institutional Review • by June 2010

OUTCOME PIs • Proportion of Students completing the specified English Language Skills Certification Programs • Proportion of Students completing the specified IT Skills Certification Programs • Students’ Soft Skills – Employer Feedback • Systematic Multi-Ethnic Educational Programs to promote interactions between students & staff from different ethnic communities (to be a part of the curriculum/university policy)
