  8. When Not to Use Knoppix • Physically damaged drives • If you heard strange sounds you had not heard before • CPU damaged in flood, power surge, etc.

  9. Starting Knoppix • Insert CD/DVD or USB • Automatically boots in most computers • Del, ESC, F1, F2 • Select boot from CD or BIOS configuration • Make CD drive first in “Boot Order” • Upon booting you will see: Press keys F2 or F3 for help and boot options KNOPPIX V3.7 ... boot: Press Enter.
