  2. Laser is an acronym derived from the expansion “Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation”. The concept of Stimulated Emission is the basics behind how lasers work and it was first theorized by Albert Einstein in 1917. The word "laser" was first used by Gordon Gould, therefore there is a good reason to believe that Gordon Gould made the first light laser.
