  29. Agent Services • We have recently established the Agent Services Department in the Meridian, Mississippi office. A primary role of Agent Services is to receive all life applications from the field agents and offices directly. Agent Services will review all applications, clean them up and obtain missing requirements before transmitting them daily to the life carriers. After getting the applications to the carriers, Agent Services will input the policy sales data into Agent Trax so that we can track the Premium Per Lead (PPL) for the field sales.This process is done to ensure completeness and obtain missing requirements so that the issue process is cleaner and the agent placement rate is better than could otherwise be expected. If anything is missing, Agent Services will contact the agent to obtain the requirements before submitting the applications. This will give the agent a chance to acquire the information prior to leaving the geographic location of the applicant. This part will only work if the applications are transmitted daily.Agent Services will transmit the applications to the carriers daily and will input all applications into the One Life America Agent Trax system for the purpose of measuring the Premium-Per-Lead (PPL). For this reason, we will need to set a weekly cut-off time for transmitting applications. Any application received after 10:00 AM CST on each Friday will not be included in that week's production reporting calculation. They will be included on the next week's PPL calculation.This deadline is necessary so that there is time to scrub the applications and input them into the system for calculating the PPL.A separate change is that we will no longer allow agents to input life sales into the Agent Trax system. Agent Services will take care of this.
