  3. Size of holes indicates two different guns used, one a .22 caliber, the other a 9mm or similar caliber. There were no exit holes so it is assumed that the rounds were lead and disintegrated inside the A/C housing. Lead fragments were found. Ball point pen inserted into hole and lined up so it reflects the trajectory of the round as it entered the housing and severed the upper coil line. Angle of pen shows that shooter was within 15 feet of building, indicating vandalism.

  4. The copper tube shown was cut out of the lower coil. There were .22 caliber rounds (both unfired rounds and spent shells) scattered around the area. Comparison of the dent/hole in the copper tube and the .22 caliber bullet indicate the round in the lower coil was likely from a .22 gun. The pen shown fit easily in the other two holes and is significantly larger in diameter than the .22 shell. Estimated size would be a 9mm or slightly smaller gun. A police report was filed on 7/21 and case number xxxx-xxx was opened. Case Officer was ??????
