  4. Cures/Treatments There is no cure Many people with achondroplasia go to therapy to strengthen their muscles or work on their breathing

  5. How is it passed on? Dominant Gene One copy of an affected gene can cause the disorder because of its affect on the chromosome. Males and females are at an equal risk to inherit achondroplasia
