Storage Summary • Interoperation testing, e.g. WebDAV between DPM and dCache (but without duplicating work already done) • CEPH evaluation (and Sam insists that we pronounce it "keph") • Use of AFS, eg AFS on Lustre? NGS had an evaluation from a few years ago • Managing POSIX type access • Optimising metadata databases • Sharing Pupppet experiences • Stress testing script/hammercloud-in-a-box • T1 disk storage evaluations - share the results, get the T2s involved SouthGrid April 2012

HEPSYSMAN • Excellent meeting with lots of very useful talks • Puppet experience increasing in the group • MySQL talks very useful • The agenda was a bit overloaded. • However uploading talks to indico allowed quick transitions. • The way we run HEPSPEC06 at sites must be consistent • Next meeting topics?? • Volunteer site to host late Oct/Nov 2012 SouthGrid April 2012
