    3. Tasking memo from Maj. Gen. Burg, HQ USAF/A3S, stated: .include appropriate involvement from the GPS-W and civil community. May 2007, Air Force Space Command formed the GPS SPS PS Update Coordination Team to craft and informally coordinate the draft update of the 2001 Standard Positioning Service (SPS) Performance Standard

    4. Basic Ground Rules Informal coordination only; with formal coordination occurring after the update is sent to HQ USAF/A3S The update will follow the PPS PS format Document the status and services to be delivered by the current GPS Constellation (snap shot in time) Unresolved issues will be appropriately noted, documented, and sent forward for discussion and resolution during the formal review
