  2. Overview Poker is one of the most lucrative online games to play with real money. Poker offers you unlimited opportunities to make good profits. You can sit on the table by paying the buy-in to compete against other players and win fabulous rewards. In the betting rounds, you take actions (bet, raise, call, check, or fold) based on your card strength. The amount you can bet on the tables depends on the betting limits of the table.

  3. Types Of Betting Limits There are three types of betting limits in Texas Hold’em Poker games - • No Limit • Pot Limit • Fixed Limit/Limit

  4. 1. NO LIMIT On these tables, there is no cap to bets and raises. A player can bet the total amount of chips he has on the table anytime at his turn to act in a betting round. The minimum amount he can bet is equal to the size of the big blind (BB) and the minimum raise is equal to the previous bet/raise. There is no maximum raise limit. You can even bet your entire chip stack.

  5. 2. POT LIMIT In Pot Limit games, you can bet only up to the size of the pot. For example - in a 25/50 game, the pot size is 100 post-flop. The player before you bets 50. You can either call 50 or raise 200 (100 starting pot+50 previous action+50 size of your call). If you raise, the next player can call 200 or raise 550 (100+50+200+200).

  6. 3. FIXED LIMIT In a fixed limit game, you can bet/raise only up to a specific limit in a betting round. The big blind is usually equal to the small bet and the small blind is half of the big blind. In the first two rounds, you can bet/raise as per the small bet size. At Turn and River, you can increase the bet as per the big bet size. For example - At a 50/100 table, the big blind is 50 and the small blind is 25. At preflop, if you are sitting to the big blind and decide to raise, you need to pay 100 (50 BB+50 small bet).
