We are excited to reintroduce a lunch program at Crisman, featuring options from Chick-fil-A, McAlister's Deli, and Pizza Hut! We plan to serve lunches on Mondays and Wednesdays from Chick-fil-A or similar places, Tuesdays and Thursdays from McAlister's Deli, and Pizza on Fridays. Please share your child's food preferences from each restaurant and any suggestions for additional dining options. Your input is valuable, and we kindly ask that you return the information to Beverly Young as soon as possible. Thank you!

CRISMAN PAWPRINTS January / February 2011 PARENTS WE NEED YOUR INPUT! We are hoping to start a lunch program again but this time we would be ordering lunch from Chick-fil-A, McAlister’s Deli, Pizza Hut or a like type of place. At this point, we are thinking Monday & Wednesday – Chick-fil-A or other dining place and Tuesday & Thursday – McAlister’s Deli or other dining place and then pizza on Friday. Below I have listed the three places and under each place are three lines – list the things that your child would eat from each place. Also I have provided space if you have a suggestion of another type of dining place to use instead. NEW STUDENTS TO CRISMAN Since the first of the year we have welcomed four new students. They are: Michael Webber – Mrs. Luttrell’s Class Tate Bussey – Ms. Player’s Class DaVonta Duffy – Ms. Player’s Class Adam Hightower – Mrs. Hattaway’s / Gannon’s Classes We are so happy to have them in our school, they are proving to be wonderful additions to our school family. STRESSING – HERE ARE SOME WAYS TO DE-STRESS Pop some bubble wrap. Blow up a balloon in slow, three-second puffs. Stare at the blue sky (a calming color) and watch the clouds float by. Get some exercise - letting your kids blow off steam outside will help to de-stress you or join them for some activity. Laugh – sit with your kids and then each person tries to make the other person laugh. Have a routine – knowing what to expect is comforting to children. Plan a time each day that there are no activities and each person can just sit and relax. • What’s On The Calendar • January 14 – 3rd Six Weeks Ends, Early Dismissal, Parent Conferences • January 17 – Holiday, 4th Six Weeks Begins • February 4 – Ferdinand the Bull – The Belcher Center • February 11 – Valentine Parties • February 21 – President’s Day Holiday • February 25 – 4th Six Weeks Ends
