The Genua workshop on October 2, 2006, focused on integrating Model-Driven Architecture (MDA) with Verification and Validation (V&V). Participants engaged in a spirited debate examining the thesis, "MDA does not need V&V," dividing into pro, con, and judges. Each participant presented a one-minute argument. The event concluded with the announcement of the best papers, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and innovation in software engineering. A two-page summary reflecting participants' views will be compiled to inform future discussions at MoDeVa 2007.
