  4. Jesus’ Childhood and Youth • Nazareth remains an active city. • Several other ports have recently been unearthed along the Sea of Galilee. • Artifacts, including a Galilean fishing boat, have been unearthed that confirm statements in the Bible.

  5. Capernaum • Researchers have unearthed the synagogue in Capernaum where Jesus healed a man with an unclean spirit and delivered the sermon on the bread of life. • The home believed to be that of Peter has been unearthed.

  6. Chorazin • Where Jesus taught in the synagogue has been found

  7. Kursi • Where Jesus healed the man possessed by Legion

  8. Tabgha • Where Jesus is believed to have done the miracle of the loaves and fishes

  9. The Mount of the Beatitudes • Where Jesus preached the sermon on the mount
