The Contents of the Report • The following software programs are geared towards teachers and students to become more successful at achieving the National Standards • These applications are covering six categories: • Various Software Applications that cover many subject areas, including Technology • Research Software Applications • Communication Software Applications • Problem Solving Software Applications • Educational Software Applications • The information that will be include for each software application is the Title, annotations, ISTE NETS technology standards, and the web site.

Various Software Applications Title Annotations ISTE NETS Standards Web Site GCF LearnFree.org is a great resource for students and teachers to learn or update their knowledge on Microsoft Office programs. These tutorials take the learner through easy to follow instructions on how to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access. The tutorials are easy for 4th grade to 12th grade students to follow or for these students refresh what they already know. Lastly, this web site can run perfectly on windows based systems. Technology Operations and Concepts GCF LearnFree.org http://www.gcflearnfree.org/computer/ Itrainonline is a tool that helps operators be more creative in their work. Operators will be able to use the multimedia to help them bring technology into their projects. Also, they will be able to utilize web design to bring their own creations to the Internet. This will be beneficial for 4th grade and 12th grade students, as well as adults. This site can run on windows based systems. Students and teachers will be able to master Microsoft Office, maintenance procedures, computer basics, and emerging technologies. Students from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade and adults will be able to benefit from this web site. This site is geared towards making a web site. Their creativity will come out and they will communicate to the browsers their field trips, their successful test scores, and the inclass parties. 4th grade to 12 th grade students would benefit from this, as well as teachers when communicating to parents. This software allows teachers to make mathematics worksheets that are specificly geared towards the math national standards. With this in mind, teachers are able to focus a students learning to be successful on the standarized test. 4th to 12th grade students will benefit from this website, and it will make a teachers job easier. It is not full proof, but it is a step in the right direction. Also, there is an add benefit for teachers. This site is a great browser for teachers to use to help students. The site would be great for 4th graders to 12th graders, if necessary. It can be ran on windows based systems. The students will be able to talk to fellow students about their homework and/or projects. Teachers will be able to answer questions on the spot, and the students will not have to wait till the next day. The most important reason is that students can talk to other students abroad. The amount of information these students will learn is enormous. This will be great for k to 12th grade students with teachers supervision. It can be ran on window based systems.
