  7. Test Scores on a Number Line Mia’s test scores are shown on the number line. Her scores are 90, 86, and 89. 85 86 87 88 89 90 91 What is her lowest score? What is her highest score? Why is it helpful to put her scores on a number line?

  8. How to Locate Points on a Number Line, Part I The red dot is a point on the number line. Notice that the dot is located on a tick mark. Look at the number below the tick mark — the number is 15. The dot on the number line represents the number 15. 10 11 12 13 14 15 16

  9. How to Locate Points on a Number Line, Part II Only some of the tick marks on the number line above have numbers below them. Count by ones to see if each tick mark represents one number higher than the number before it. The red dot is 2 tick marks to the right of the number 46. 46 + 2 = 48, so the dot represents the number 48. 46 49 52

  10. What numbers do the red dots represent? 33 35 30
