SB 329 Timeline • Upon Passage (completed): • Governor appoints Oregon Health Fund Board Executive Director • Governor appoints and Senate confirms Health Fund Board members • Agencies begin compiling data, conducting research, and preparing for subcommittees • October, 2007: • Board begins work on developing health insurance exchange • Committees begin meeting • February 1, 2008: • Initial reports from agencies are due to subcommittees • Board reports to the Legislature on implementation of health insurance exchange

SB 329 Timeline • February 28, 2008 • Board reports to Legislature on progress of committees • July 31, 2008: • Federal subcommittee reports to the Congressional delegation and requests hearings across Oregon and in D.C. • Prior to October, 2008: • Board holds public hearings on draft of Oregon Health Fund program comprehensive plan • October 1, 2008: • Comprehensive plan due to Governor, Speaker, & President • Plan submitted to Legislative Counsel for drafting • 2009 Legislative Session: • Consideration of comprehensive plan as submitted by Board
