Attendance management is one of a school's most fundamental functions. It provides a basis for students to be consistent in their studies and presents a valid criterion to measure student discipline and engagement in school activities. However, registering attendance on papers or attending sheets created on a spreadsheet application remains a struggle for many and is only sometimes accurate. Such deficiencies highlight the need to develop a better option, such as a school management system, which improves efficiency and accuracy.
