Welcome! • Thankyou for coming to us in Sweden withthis meeting and yourexperience and knowledge! • Collaboration is key to retrieve relevant energy data and to disseminate and communicate it well. • Statistics Sweden have taken note of and benefited from discussions and outputs from the Oslo groupsince it started in 2005. • Energy statisticsareneeded to understand many social, environmental and economicchallenges. • Wesee it as a cornerstonestatistic in the integratedfollowupof agenda 2030.

Sweden’s national follow up and involvement in Agenda 2030 • First national reporting15th ofApril (in Swedish). • This is to be able to produce a statistical annex for the HLPF(highlevelpolitical forum) this summer. • Worknowcontinues, to make plans for the indicatorsthatare not readilyavailable. • Also to suggestways to make an integratedassessment of Agenda 2030 on how the 17 goalsinteract by connecting data sets.
