  2. Fishing and beach event • Target group: 1st year tourism students Duration: 7-8h Point in time: August-September

  3. Program • We will gather at Vocational College Lappia at 09:00am • From there we will cycle a short journey, around 5 kilometres to a river bank in Kirkonmäki • We’ll arrive to Kirkonmäki about 10:00am • First a short briefing about the program of the day

  4. First we have a quick briefing of fishing and hand over the equipment. • Then we start fishing • Lunch begins at 11:30am • Sausages, sandwiches and juice from school

  5. After lunch is briefing of rowing competition • Students are dealt into three person groups • The meaning is to row around specific distance and people on the beach will take time. • Quickest time wins

  6. After the competition there will be a distribution of prizes • Next we will play some get together games • After the games we will have summary of the day • Then we will leave back to school at 16:00pm
