Welcome toSt. Peter! • Today the Christian Church celebrates that we believe in a Triune God. • Triune comes from the Latin “tri” (three) and “unus” (one). • Our God is triune because he tells us in his error-free Word that he is three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, but only one God. • Indeed, our God is a great and majestic God. May we be granted the faith to always believe and steadfastly cling to the doctrine of the Trinity!

  6. Prayer before Worship • O Triune God, your name was put on me when I was baptized. • Grant me the grace to continue in this faith in the Trinity until I join the hosts of heaven that cry “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY” before your heavenly throne. • Amen.
