STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These are the subjects which were allegedly the most avoided subjects by the students. This significantly reduced the rate of students opting for any of these as their area of interest in future.   1. HOW IS STEM EDUCATION A GOOD CHOICE AS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN?

  2. After school programs are also known as the out of school time (OST). This time is quite valuable for students in lots of ways. The benefits from it are huge and it opens a plethora of opportunities to those that attend these programs. After school stem programs Sydney offer a safe place for the students, providing various opportunities for the students to learn a variety of skills. Not just educational, but these after school programs offer a non-academic yet competitive environment for the children to explore. It incorporates social as well as emotional learning for the students, this, in turn, improves the student achievement by 11 per cent. This social and emotional learning involves various key elements such as the self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, develops relationship skills, and improves good analytical skills, that in turn, develops the decision-making skills. These skills enable the students to enact these newly developed skillsets to practise in ways that become helpful in ways that apply in various situations in life, both, in and out of the classrooms.
