  2. A Good Man • What standard will we use to find a “good man”? • Money, education, power, appearance, etc.? • A right character … duty and devotion to God (Psa. 37:23; 112:5; Prov. 12:2; 13:22; Lk. 6:45)?

  3. A Good Man • A “good man” is hard to find (Micah 7:2; Jer. 5:1) • God is looking for a good man (Ezek. 22:30) • A “good man” is not expressed often in scripture

  4. A Few Good Men • Ahimaaz (2 Sam. 18:27) – a good man is faithful and true • Joseph of Arimathaea (Lk. 23:50) – a good man is a courageous disciple • Jesus (Jn. 7:12) – a good man sacrifices for others • Barnabas (Acts 11:24) – a good man is filled with the Holy Spirit and faith
