The Longleaf Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) aims to consolidate four existing programs into one comprehensive initiative. It focuses on improving soil quality, water quality, and wildlife habitat on a regional scale in critical conservation areas (CCAs). Key strategies include increasing prescribed burning, enhancing technical assistance for private landowners, and ensuring better conservation outcomes through monitoring. By leveraging new Farm Bill opportunities, RCPP seeks to boost funding for longleaf restoration initiatives while fostering collaboration among stakeholders for impactful environmental stewardship.
