  1. What is Structure Data and How It Is Important for SEO? Google keeps on updating its search algorithms and the latest update in keyword search is based on Structure Data Presentation. Earlier when we used to search any topic, website, online Store, recipes, products, services, etc we used to see its information with respect to title, description etc. But now searches are more refined and results are shown in a much more presentable manner and it increases the user's reading habit. The extra information that is shown is the operational time, statistics, list, name, address, etc. The Extra information that you see next to our results is known as Structure Data. For example if you're searching for Seo Company Chandigarh, then along with the company ‘s name additional information such as working hours, pricing, address and stars to indicate positive reviews is also presented. What is Structure data? There are a lot of searches that are perfect for human beings or online users but these characters are meaningless to web crawlers. Search Engine bots are not so smart to understand all this because Search Engines cannot understand the language of humans. That’s why Structure data was introduced. Structure data is a simple HTML code or a Database. These can simply be added to the page’s HTML markup. After that the search engines use this HTML code to generate rich snippets (which are small pieces of extra information such as address, rating, images, maps, hours, etc). Structure data helps the search engine to better understand what the content is specifically about. Moreover, it will allow users to calculate the value of a website .

Like the rating of the product, NAP of the company, etc. So structured data is a tool you can use to tell Google (in a way it understands what you’re saying) detailed information about a page on your website. With structured data we can make it easier for web crawlers to determine company basics, such as NAP (name, address, place) data, as well as more complex information such as articles, events, products, blogs, etc. on our website. How did we get started with Structure data? Google Structure data markup helper is one of the most useful and free tools to start with Structure data. This tool enhances Google’s understanding of content on our website. To do so with Google’s Structure Data Markup Helper, submit a web page to Google's Structured Data Markup helper and use your mouse to “tag” different page elements. When we are done with tagging, the Data Markup Helper will generate a sample HTML code with micro data marked up. Then we can download this code and incorporate it into our website’s Header or Footer file.

  3. Third party services There are also other services to start with Structure data like schema.org. On Schema.org we can find the entire structured data markup supported by the search engines. This makes Schema.org a large collection of pieces of code.Schema.org provides a collection of html tags that webmasters can use to mark up their pages for easy search engine recognition. Google’s Structured Data Helper also provides micro data markup for easily incorporating into our website. One can use Schema.org to find the markup needed for a particular page. Don’t think structured data is only an SEO strategy. But it is much more than that. It is the foundation for machines to understand our website content. With the use of structured data, voice machines like Google, Siri, and Alexa are reading and understanding their content efficiently and effectively.
