Supporting Economic Partnerships: PSOM Program between Dutch and Ghanaian Companies

The PSOM program, initiated by the Dutch Ministry of Development Cooperation, aims to alleviate poverty by fostering healthy economic partnerships between Dutch and Ghanaian companies. This program provides financial support for pilot investments, covering up to 50% as a grant, focusing on small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Through partnerships, including legal co-operation agreements and training, the program has contracted 11 projects worth EUR 6.5 million, resulting in substantial follow-up investments, particularly in agriculture and agribusiness, generating an average of 50 jobs per project.
