  3. Overview of CDBG • Community Development Block Grant is a program of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development • CDBG funds can only be spent in qualifying areas and on qualified types of projects.

  4. Overview of CDBG • Eligible Locations are geographically defined by Census Tract and Block Group • Households Census Tracks must meet economic criteria 51% or greater LMI Level Eligible as CRA area

  17. Proposed Project: Storm Drainage 804.04 Block 1 • CPTED Study shows catch basin maintenance needed • Addition engineering has been done to improve drainage in low areas • Estimated cost of project $500,000
