Implementation Process of HF PSR Establishment of relevant criteria and assessment procedures Detailed Assessment -document-based assessment -on-site reviews -expert panel reviews -experimental evaluations yes Report of satisfied factors no Issue collection and evaluation Report of issues and corrective action plans Report to KINS KINS evaluation

  9. Requirements for Continuous Operation • The Enforcement Regulation of the Atomic Energy Act was revised in September 2005. • added two items to the existing PSR items (i) life assessment of the major components in consideration of the duration of an extended operation, (ii) assessment of the radiation effects for the environments changed after the operating license. • In human factors aspects, the resolution of HF PSR issues is required for a Continuous Operation. • Request for the Continuous Operation permit for Kori 1 (out of 30 years design life) was submitted by July 2007.
