Delhi Awas Yojna 2018 at Diplomatic Enclave 2, Chanakyapuri Delhi The Cabinet have at last approved the transfer of 35 hectares of land so that the urban development ministry can set up a new Diplomatic Enclave 2. It would prove helpful to put up international organizations and foreign missions in the sensitive area of Delhi are Chanakyapuri. The plotting and the ground share would be done by the external affairs ministry. The new diplomatic centre that is about to come up in Sector 24 Dwarka would be one tenth of the size of Chanakyapuri sensitive area and come under Delhi Awas yojna. According to the view of internal sources, the Delhi Master Plan has marked this piece of land for setting up foreign enclaves and embassies.

2. About Land Pooling Policy The Land Pooling Policy of Delhi is a private public partnership model that target to develop the outer areas of Delhi into smart cities. The Land Pooling policy also recognized as the LPP model is a system that plans to house the rising population of Delhi. The government of Delhi previously possesses huge acre of land. Between several departments of the government, the Delhi government has more than 3500 acres of land. Therefore, it would not be a vast trouble for the DDA and the Delhi government to allot land to the external affairs ministry. It is learnt that the external ministry has command zero ground rent for the building of the foreign enclave. Furthermore, the foreign affairs department has also asked for that the DDA should keep a rate of property unchanged for two years. On the other hand, in recent times, these entire subjects have been resolved. The DDA would offer this piece of land to the land and development office at a small cost of only 1 rupee.
