  2. HTC - the Taiwanese smartphone maker on Tuesday disclosed its most recent lead smartphone, the HTC 10. One thing that differentiates is the absence of "One" or "M" monikers in its name that were seen in the previous flagship products i.e., HTC One M8 and HTC One M9.

In its official press explanation, HTC stated that the new handset will be available in two variations dubbed as the HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle, both differentiated by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors taking into account diverse markets, however, would showcase similarity in terms of design, audio, camera, and display, with a similar software experience and battery life. The unlocked HTC 10 editionis available via the official website at a price tag of approximately INR 46,500 (US $699) and will be made available in two color variants namely Glacier Silver and Carbon Grey.

In terms of specs too, theDual-SIMsmartphone showcase differences since the U.S. variant would sport the Snapdragon 820 Processor while the Indian version known as the HTC 10 Lifestyle comes packed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and not just the processor, the two handsets differ in terms of SoC, RAM storage and the sapphire lens in the rear camera.

  5. The US variation of the HTC 10 is fueled by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It comes in two design variants - one highlighting 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage capacity while the other with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of capacity in a way that they both are further expandable in terms of memory up to 2TB. The Indian version of the HTC 10 is controlled by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor clocked at up to 1.8GHz and accompanies 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB of onboard storage capacity.

The HTC 10, as claimed, features the BoomSound tech with the company claiming handset "engineered for audiophiles." coupled with Dolby Audio and three microphones with noise cancellation support. The handset sports 3000mAh battery that delivers a discussion time of up to 21 hours on 3G systems and a standby time of up to 21 days on 3G. Additionally, the smartphone equips Power saving mode and Quick Charge 3.0 with a cool charge that allows the handset to charge nearly 50 percent in just 30minutes duration. Connectivity options incorporate Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, DLNA, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, and 4G.
