Faithful Attendance

Faithful attendance in worship is a vital response to the superiority of Jesus Christ as our all-sufficient sacrifice and perfect high priest. Hebrews 10:1-25 emphasizes the importance of assembling together to draw near to God, be steadfast in our confessions, and encourage one another. While missing an assembly may sometimes be permitted, it is always a loss. Engaging in collective worship fulfills God’s commands and fosters spiritual growth. Let us commit to encouraging one another and deepening our faith through consistent participation.

Faithful Attendance Is The Proper Response To The Superiority of Jesus. • Let Us Draw Near To God & His People. • Hebrews 10:22 • Let Us Be Steadfast In Our Confession of Hope. • Hebrews 10:23 • Let Us Motivate Each Other. • Hebrews 10:24 • This Requires Faithful Assembling. • In Fact, We Should Assemble More Frequently To Encourage One Another. Hebrews 10:25

Faithful Attendance Is Necessary To Fulfill God’s Commands. • Loving & Seeking God First. • Revelation 2:4-5, Matthew 6:33 • Participating In Collective Actions. • To Worship, To Edify One Another, To Supply The Body • Imitating, Submitting, & Obeying Our Leaders. • Hebrews 13:7,17 • Maturing In Our Faith. • Setting A Good Example. • Maintaining A Clear Conscience.

Missing An Assembly Is Sometimes Permitted, But ALWAYS A Loss. • Even Those With Unavoidable Conflicts Knew They Were Missing Out! • Death & A Distant Journey (Numbers 9:9-11) • When Someone Chooses To Only Assemble 1/4 of Their Opportunities, How Can We Call That A Hunger & Thirst For Righteousness? • Matthew 5:6 • I want to be at worship, more than I want to…
