  1. Find the Answer Game By Jane Darrow

  2. Find the compound subject! Tom jumped and ran to the kitchen. Tom and Jerry went to get some cheese. They raced to the kitchen, but they fell as they ran.

  3. Find the compound sentence. I like to play football, but my friend likes to play soccer. It is fun to throw and catch the football. The basket ball and the football were lost.

  4. Find the compound verb or predicate. Sally and Tom are going to be home for break. It is fun to stay at home, but it is fun to travel also. On break I will travel and sightsee in two different cities.

  5. Find the compound sentence. Tom and Kevin don’t like him at all. Sandy liked the new boy, yet she did not talk to him. The new boy teases and burps a lot.

  6. Find the compound verb or predicate. They both ran and screamed because they were so happy. They plan to buy a car, and they plan to pay their bills. Tom and Sally won a prize.

  7. Find the compound subject. Christy, Sarah, and I plan to go to the beach. Summer is a fun time, yet it is extremely warm. I swim, golf, and sew all summer.

  8. Find the compound sentence. Brian and Bonnie are both my friends. Brian will you copy the sentence, for it is very important to learn. Bonnie runs and jumps the hurtles.

  9. Find the simple sentence. Frank likes to shop at the dollar store, but Jo and Tom hate that store. Tom went to Walmart, yet Jo went to K-mart. Tom, Jo, and Frank went to the store.

  10. Find the compound sentence. Luke likes to tell jokes, so Bryan will laugh violently. Cody and William laughed at the silly joke. Tom wiggles and giggles very day during fifth period.
