  1. Proud to be an American by Mariah

  2. My 1st Reason • There are many reasons why I am proud to be an American! America is free, has lots of schooling and a proud line of safety companies.

  3. My 2nd Reason • We all need to go to school and get a good education so we can to get a scholarship and go to college. Some people do not go to college and do not get a good education. I am glad I am not living in Japan. If I was, I would be getting up at 4:00am and leave at 5:00am, because I would live three miles away and I would have to be at school at 8:00. I'm glad I live in America and not Japan.

  4. My 3rd Reason • Freedom. Isn't it nice to feel free and be free? If we didn't have a free life, we would be making blacks do all our plantation work. This is wrong because slavery is wrong. I do not believe in slavery and no one else should because it is wrong.

  5. Conclusion • Safety. Isn't it nice to know that you can go to sleep at night and be safe? You can always count on the police, firemen, and the EMS. We have a lot of robberies, rapes, homicides, murders, car accidents and heart attacks. The police, firemen, and EMS help us through our hard times. They believe in us and they tell us we can pull through whatever we are going through. • These are the greatest reasons why I am proud to be an American.
