  4. 2,600 full time students on A-level, advanced vocational, intermediate, foundation programmes. • 600-650 students progress to university: half from A-level and half from vocational programmes. • Many are first in family to apply to university • 98% from high widening participation postcodes • 76% receiving Educational Maintenance Awards • 93% ethnic minority backgrounds • 76% speak a language other than English at home • School GCSE achievement in Year 11 below national average
