  3. I am the leader! • He made health care affordable for his country, Cuba. • He also made sure education was available to all.

  4. Come Follow Me • Fidel Castro’s followers were the Cuban people and Communist.

  5. I'm different, yeah I'm different • Fidel Castro wasn’t only concerned about himself. • He wanted the best for everyone and equality for all, unlike other dictators.

  7. Fidel Castro was in leadership for 49 years, starting from 1959-2008. All this time

  8. Fidel Castro had great self confidence. He was true to his beliefs and values. Castro showed the Cuban people that he had courage in the face of danger. Positive Perfection

  9. I’m BAD and I know it. • After agreeing to join the Cuban invasion, he caused Cuba to go in debt. • Cuba associating with the USSR caused an extreme amount of tension between the United States and Cuba.

  10. Back In the day… Fidel Castro’s father, Angel Castro was a wealthy plantation owner. Fidel Castro was educated in a private school where he was able to study law. In 1948, Fidel Castro married Mirta Diaz Balart, who was from a wealthy family in Cuba.

  11. Since Fidel Castro had the privilege of being wealthy, he had many opportunities to accomplish the things he wanted to do. By marring Mirta Diaz Balart, his advantages of getting close to the government were high. It’s just how I am.

  12. It all comes to an end… • Fidel Castro fell from leadership when he became sick and was unable to rule Cuba. • In the year 2008, he retired from office.
