They found out abnormalities in the spare tire, doors and the gas tank for the ostensible purpose of hiding something. On digging further, they unearthed a haul of methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine concealed in 2016 packets. The drugs were valued at around $1 million. She was taken into custody. Offenses like this, where children are used in drug smuggling, cause a considerable harm to their psyche. Earlier in May 2018, 62-year old Steve Cassidy, former president of the Uniformed Firefighters Association and currently in charge of FDNY’s pension fund, was arrested after he crashed his government car into a dumpster in Midtown, Manhattan. He narrowly avoided hitting the pedestrians. Cassidy was reportedly driving under the influence (DUI); had watery, bloodshot eyes and could speak difficultly.
