  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! We welcome you to worship this first Sunday after the Lord’s Pentecost. Today the Christian Church celebrates that we believe in a Triune God. Triune comes from the Latin tri (three) and unus (one). Our God is triune because he tells us that he is three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but only one God. May this awesome and majestic God bless you and your worship!

  6. Prayer before Worship • Praise to you, O Triune God. Father, maker of all things, you gave me life and breath. You sent your Son to cleanse me from sin. In my baptism you then gave me your Holy Spirit to make me glad. Thank you for providing all that I need to live. Especially do I thank you today for the gift of saving faith and knowledge of you, the only true and living God. To you be honor and glory now and forever. Amen.
