  5. Education • Formal education is provided through the eighth grade and only in their own private schools • The Amish are exempt from state compulsory attendance beyond the eighth grade based on religious principles

  6. Education • Schooling concentrates on the basic reading, writing, math and geography, along with vocational training and socialization in Amish history and values.

  7. Group Discussion • If you are born in Amish family, would you keep for the original life style or not, why?
