Check Available SSH Keys Run the following command to check if there are any SSH keys. $ ls -la ~/.ssh
Generate New SSH Key Run the following command to generate new SSH key. $ ssh-keygen
Add Public SSH Key to GitHub Account Login to your GitHub account. At top right corner, clock Profile icon and then click Settings. In the left sidebar, click SSH and GPG keys. Click New SSH Key. You will see a form where you need to copy-paste the content of your public key file id_rsa.pub. Click Add SSH Key when you are done.
Test Setup You can test if the new key is working by cloning a git repository to your local system, using its Git URL. $ git clone git@github.com:username/reponame.git
