  2. Install PHP & Apache Joomla runs on PHP and is usually configured to run on Apache web server. So you need to install PHP & Apache on your system

  3. Install MySQL Server Next install MySQL Server on your system

  4. Create Joomla Database & User Create an empty database for Joomla application, along with a database user that can access it.

  5. Install Joomla Download Joomla application using wget command. Unzip the downloaded file to /var/www/html/joomla folder from where Apache can access it. Set user ownership & permissions to allow Apache web server to work with these files & folders.
