LA Geographic Response Plans • Two Phase Approach: • Phase I: Sensitive Site Identification (SSI) • Formulate SSI process • Define SSI Priority Levels (A, B, C for 0-48hrs) • Conduct Workshops with Parish, State, Federal Stakeholders (Site and Priority) • Review and acceptance of SSI by stakeholders • Phase II: Tactical Protection Strategy (TPS) • Formulate TPS process • From SSI, apply GRP pre-oiling response strategies • Excluded post-oiling response strategies: • In-Situ Burning • Dispersants • Shoreline Cleanup • Open-Water Mechanical Recovery • Review and acceptance of GRP by stakeholders
