Activities of Draga Centre • Cooperation with Faculty of Medicine and College of Health Care • Networking with institutions on secondary and tertiary level • Basic laboratory research, EEG recordings • Swimming pool, hypo-therapy • Mobile-unit services, home help, organisation of excursions and holidays • Lifelong learning project • Self-help group, self-advocacy group

  4. Medical care • Medical treatment: doctors • Health care: nurses medical technicians • ( Re)habilitation: physiotherapists work therapists logopedists psychologists

  5. Definition of development disorder • Mental development (intellectual) disorder • Movement and sensory disorder

  6. Predominance • mental underdevelopment including borderline cases 2,5- 3 % • cerebral paralysis 0,3- 0,5 %

  7. Integrated care pre-pregnancy counselling pregnancy monitoring birth – newborn child healthy children children at risk
