With the increasing demand for air conditioners in India, ensuring their quality, safety, and energy efficiency has become a top priority for both manufacturers and consumers. To address this, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has made BIS certification mandatory for air conditioners and their parts under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) and Quality Control Order (QCO).
