Completing the Case Opening Process in CM/ECF

This chapter outlines the final steps in the CM/ECF case opening process after completing payment. You will respond to a jury demand prompt and provide a description of your document if necessary. It is essential to review the final docket text carefully, as modifications cannot be made afterward. After finalizing, you will receive a Notice of Electronic Filing confirming the successful submission. For emergency matters, remember to call the Clerk’s Office Intake Department immediately after opening your case. Contact numbers for Seattle and Tacoma cases are provided.
