Volunteer Opportunities The Leadership Summit The 2017 Leadership summit is a one-day immersion event that gives students the opportunity to uncover their leadership strengths and network with recruiters from companies like Walmart, General Motors, and Caterpillar.   5. Arch-E Week What is Arch-E week? • Architecture & Engineering Week (ArchE Week) is a week-long series of events that celebrate all disciplines of engineering and architecture. When is Arch-E week? • Monday April 3rd to Saturday April 8th How can I get involved (Volunteering Hours)? • We are seeking student organizations to coordinate events for Arch-E week as a way to give back to the engineering student community, help promote/advertise engineering student organizations, and provide an opportunity for volunteering hours. More complex/bigger events will get more hours.

SORA What is SORA? • Student Organization Recognition and Awards (SORA) aimed at celebrating and recognizing engineering organizations at the college. • The College of Engineering awards 6 organizations $250 for achievements and most outstanding org is awarded $1000 • Nominate an organization here: https://osu.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6tjSi62FqUCyVhj&Q_JFE=0 • Deadline to nominate an organization moved to Sunday 1/29/2017! • Winners announced March 1 at the SORA ceremony

  8. Mcquibb Awards What is Mcquibb Award? • The Charles Ellison MacQuigg Award is named for a late Dean of the College of Engineering. The award is presented annually to faculty members who have demonstrated interest in and willingness to help students • Deadline to nominate faculty is February 2/24/2017 • Nomination link should be up in E-council website by Sunday 1/29/2017
