Questions to Think About During Our Discussion • What do you anticipate learning from the results of these questions? • How do you expect the information you collect to impact program activities? • Will these results provide us information that we cannot obtain elsewhere? • Do these questions need to be asked in 2007 or can they wait until 2008? • Why is this topic area a priority in Texas?

Questionnaire Options for the 2007 Texas BRFSS • Single survey • Cut 1/3rd of the proposed questions and run a long survey like 2005 (~23 minutes long) • Sample size: ~9,000 – 12,000 (depends which requests are accepted) • Split survey • Accept all proposed questions • Run a shorter survey each split • Sample size per split: ~7,500 - 8,000 • Total size for core: ~15,000 - 16,000
