Empowering Young Musicians: Music by Kids for Kids Curriculum

Music by Kids for Kids is a groundbreaking composition curriculum developed by composer Janika Vandervelde at the American Composers Forum. It bridges the gap in music education by encouraging students in grades 7-12 to create and compose music, akin to how they express themselves through writing in English and art classes. This curriculum equips educators with essential tools to incorporate composition and notation software into their classrooms.
