  4. What is On Demand Writing? On Demand Writing is the practice of responding to a writing prompt by analyzing its purpose, identifying the audience, and organizing/finding evidence.

  5. Analyze Prompt Analyzing the prompt means to carefully read and orallyrestate (use your own words) what you are being asked to do. It is also important to underline any direction words (e.g., compare, describe, persuade). You should also circle any topic words that state the topic and specify what should be addressed. Example I underlined the direction word(s) __________ in the prompt. For this assignment I need to _____________. I circled the topic word(s) __________. I need to _________.

  6. Prompt Explain the difference between Youniqiue’s reaction to her mother as opposed to her sisters’ reactions. Support your opinion with textual evidence.
