World Down Syndrome Day Spring Festival Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women at San Diego State University and San Diego Down Syndrome Org. San Diego, CA, March 05, 2014 - On March 21st, 2014 Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women at San DiegoState University and San Diego Down Syndrome Org. will be hosting a Spring Festival on WorldDown Syndrome Day for individuals who have Down Syndrome. On March 21st, Pi Beta Phi and San Diego Down Syndrome Organization will host the springfestival at San Diego State University. The members of Pi Beta Phi created about 15 fun andexciting games for these kids to play and when they finish all the games they will experiencereceiving an Olympic style medal. This spring festival will not only be a fun and educationalexperience for the kids, but it was also be a great way for the community to really see how specialthese kids are. As San Diego Down Syndrome Organization puts it “These kids are the specialtreasures of our society.” We would like to thank West Jet, Costco, Wendy's and Mc Donald's for their support of San DiegoDown Syndrome and this event. About San Diego Down Syndrome Organization: SDDS started in 2011 by taking in donatedbooks and reselling them in order to provide free educational events and resources. SDDS haspartnered with LEGOLAND, Sea World and other San Diego educational establishments to enhancethe lives of those with Down syndrome. We have over 5500 members from all over the world. In2012 we provided over $10,000 in benefits to our community. Individuals with Down syndromeare indeed special treasures to the community as a whole and we plan to share that message withthe world.
