The IAA Vision The global authority on counterfeit detection and product authentication The IAA works on behalf of its members and stakeholders in order to accelerate and improve the detection of counterfeits; the authentication of genuine products and the provision of evidence for successful prosecutions, through the use of appropriate business processes and technologies.

Our Mission • Building a wide forum of members, including end users, government and academic institutions • Enhancing membership services by improving membership communications, facilitating discussions and adding value to individual memberships. • Working with stakeholders, including national and international anti-counterfeiting organisations to drive improvements in counterfeit detection and product authentication through more effective business processes and technologies. • Adding value to members and the wider authentication community by developing White Papers, responding to consultations, organising workshops/ seminars and commissioning research into areas of common interest.
