  1. Argument Against Abortions Argumentative Essay Do you think abortions is okay? It is approximately 1.1 million abortions a year in the U.S alone. To me i feel like abortions shouldn't be legal in the U.S. Abortions should be illegal because it's killing a baby.Neatly 1 in 4 (22%) of pregnancies end in abortions. At a young age kids feel like they can't have the baby due to school they tend to abort the baby. Abortions is not contraception 21% of all viable pregnancies end in abortions and the ones arranging the abortions had one in the past. In 2010 over 8% of all women having an abortion had at least 3 in the past. Contraception fail when not used properly for men and women. Human life can be disposable because of abortions. A pope have claimed that abortions promotes ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  2. An Argument Against Abortion Essay Abortion in America is a controversial issue in which both sides have valid arguments at face value. The pro–choice side has many arguments to support it belief in keeping abortion legal. Many of these are faulty, and argue points irrelevant to the issue as I will attempt to illustrate, thereby eliminating the main pro–choice arguments. The pro–life position has somewhat different ideas. The most popular of these is: The unborn entity is fully human from the moment of conception. Abortion results in the intentional death of the unborn entity. Therefore, abortion can be defined the intentional killing of a human being. This killing is in most cases unjustified, since the unborn human being has a...show more content... The reason this argument doesn't work is because it is begging the question. In fact, this lie hides behind a good percentage of the popular arguments for the pro–choice position. One begs the question when one assumes what one is trying to prove is correct. The question–begging of the coat–hanger argument is very obvious: but only by assuming that the unborn are not fully human does the argument work. If the unborn are not fully human, then the pro–choicer has a legitimate concern, just as one would have in overturning a law forbidding appendicitis operations if countless people were needlessly dying of both appendicitis and illegal operations. But if the unborn are fully human, this pro–choice argument is the same as saying that because people die or are harmed while killing other people, the state should make it safe for them to do so. Even some pro–choicers, who argue for their position in other ways, admit that the coat hanger/back–alley argument is crap. Although statistics cant establish a particular moral position, there has been arguments over both the actual number of illegal abortions and the number of women who died as a result of them before legalization. Prior to Roe vs Wade, pro–choicers used saying that nearly a million women every year obtained illegal abortions performed ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  3. Arguments Against Abortions Pamela Madsen once said that "Reproductive freedom is not just the ability not to have a child through birth control. It's the ability to have one if and when you want." In January of 1973, the United States Supreme Court ruled that the constitutional right to privacy emcompasses a woman's right to "make her own personal medical decision–including the decision to have an abortion" ("Reproductive Rights"). No person should be given the grievance of being heavily forced to carry and bring an unwanted child into the world. However, in many countries, such as Uganda and Iran, it is illegal to have an abortion. The right to have an abortion should be a guaranteed basic right for women because it is their body and they should be allowed to make...show more content... Many argue that the fetus can experience pain when an abortion is performed. However that statement has been easily rebuked by numerous medical studies. For example, "According to a 2010 review by Britain's Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, most neuroscientists believe that the cortex is necessary for pain perception. The cortex does not become functional until at least the 26th week of a fetus' development, long after most abortions are performed" (Should Abortions Be Legal"). This shows that credible medical professional believe that a fetus cannot feel pain, almost to the point of birth. In addition to this, according to American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, "There is no legitimate scientific information that supports the statement that a fetus experiences pain." The argument that a fetus does in fact feel pain, making abortions inhumane, is completely untrue. Yet another seemingly incoherent view of abortion is that women are taking away potential society contributors. Women have the right to their own bodies and it is completely unknown to what the possible life would accomplish. Women are not taking away this potential, as it is what happens after birth that defines the child. This argument is supported by mothers of notable celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Cher, who considered abortion ("Should Abortion Be Legal"). These woman were given the right ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...
